Bromelain is a natural proteolytic, or protein-digesting, enzyme that is derived from pineapple stems. California Gold Nutrition Bromelain contains this helpful enzyme, which can help support healthy digestion and may also improve joint comfort.*

Bromelain Benefits
Because of its natural ability to break down proteins, bromelain may help the body digest them, supporting healthy digestive function.* Bromelain is also known for its anti-inflammatory effects, which may help improve both joint and muscle comfort.* These natural anti-inflammatory properties can also support respiratory health, as it may reduce inflammation and swelling of the nasal passages.* The power of bromelain is measured by GDU, or gelatin digesting units, which refers to the amount of protein a gram of bromelain can digest. This supplement has a rating of 2,400 GDU per gram.

California Gold Nutrition Bromelain is formulated with bromelain extracted from the pineapple fruit and stem. It is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans and contains no gluten, GMOs, or soy. When taken as directed, this provides a 3-month supply.
